This 15-day Authentic South India motorcycle tour will be a biking adventure unlike no other. Enjoy 11 days of relaxed cruising on winding roads and lovely tropical landscapes of South India and Goa. Watch sunsets at pristine beaches, stand atop the cliffs of Western Ghats, and lose yourself to the sights and smells of spices, sarees, and seafood.

Since South India is considerably connected by roads and development, you will truly appreciate our carefully selected route drawn from our 20+ years of experience – designed to give you the best riding experience through offbeat paths, good roads with little to no traffic, thus avoiding the ‘Indian traffic system’. This exciting motorcycle tour will also take you through a fascinating slice of South Indian history, from majestic temple complexes and World Heritage Sites dating back to the 6th century. One highlight worth trumpeting right away is the hundreds year old magical ruins of the Hindu metropolis of the Hampi, capital of the ancient Vijayanagara Kingdom.
Our discovery tour will take you to raging rivers for whitewater rafting and rainforest safaris. On the winding roads through the dense jungle of the Western Ghats, you’ll encounter wild animals in pristine nature. We’ll go wildlife spotting in Dandeli National Park and explore the mystical Hindu cave temples at Badami, a medieval place of pilgrimage.
And when the motorcycle adventure is over, there will still be time to unwind on the white beaches of Goa. Join us for a tropical adventure in a fascinating, exotic environment and a program with plenty of variety that’s been developed by professional bikers, history buffs, and party people.

TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 :
ARRIVAL AT GOA AIRPORT & TRANSFER TO BENAULIM BEACH
Your adventure starts when you arrive at the airport. We will arrange a pick-up service to Benaulim, located in idyllic South Goa with miles of beautiful white beaches. It is a perfect start to the tour, whether this is your first time in India, or you’re already an old hand. Take time to decompress after the flight, meet your fellow riders and guide at the welcome dinner. We will close the night with breathtaking views of the sunset on the beach accompanied by a chilled beer.
DAY 2 :
WARM UP RIDE IN SOUTH GOA (40 KMS)
After breakfast, we’ll get acquainted with our Enfield Bullet, with a briefing on its technology and an extremely useful talk on navigating the Indian traffic. Today will be all about beaches and bikes, with a warm up run to the nearby coastline and vantage points. In the evening, it’s time to enjoy the sea, the beach and great food.
DAY 3 :
SOUTH EAST TO SPICE FARMS AND NETRAVALI,
HOME OF BLACK PANTHERS (120 KMS)
Our first day trip will take us southeast from Benaulim into Goa’s hilly hinterland, where we’ll reach Netravali Wildlife Park, nature lovers’ paradise and home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including black panthers. Next, we’ll visit one of Goa’s spice farms and delve into the lore of India’s world-famous spices. At dinner, we have the opportunity to try the local dishes and spices – guaranteed to thrill our taste buds and perhaps present them with a challenge or two!
DAY 4 :
VROOM, VROOM ! LET’S GO!
BENAULIM - BELGAUM VIA AMBOLI GHATS (240 KMS)
Today we’re setting out on our grand tour! We’ll travel through Goa on narrow, mostly quiet country lanes to the Amboli Ghats, a mountain pass in the Sahyadri mountains. From Amboli Ghats, we will set out onto the Deccan – a vast plateau that covers most of southern India and is surrounded by three mountain ranges stretching across eight Indian states. We’ll ride past rushing rivers, roaring waterfalls, lush rainforests and rugged landscapes to the old trading town of Belgaum at the foot of the Sahyadri Mountains, where we’ll spend the night.
DAY 5 :
SHIMMERING ROCKS AND ANCIENT CAVE TEMPLES,
BELGAUM - BADAMI (150 KMS)
A very special highlight awaits us today! We’ll ride the narrow country lanes through the fertile farmlands of Karnataka to the sacred cave temples of Badami. The town of Badami was once the capital of the early Chalukyas and was founded in 540 AD. Here we’ll enjoy a special spectacle just before sunset, when the rocky region around this magical place is embraced by the sun and shimmers in golden colours.
DAY 6 :
BADAMI - PATTADAKAL - HAMPI (150 KMS)
Today, we will explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of South India – Pattadakal, Mahakuta and Banashankari. The impressive sites include several Hindu and Jain temples, as well as Buddhist caves. These important places of worship for Hindus date back to the 6th and 7th century AD – and there’s a lot to discover! We will take quiet roads to the rocky region around Hampi – the capital of the last Hindu kingdom of Vijayanagar Kingdom.
DAY 7 :
HAUNTING HAMPI,
THE RUINS OF THE LAST SOUTH INDIAN HINDU KINGDOM
Today is the day of exploring history. This famous World Heritage Site is sure to impress – the magical ruins of this city are spread over 26 square kilometres amidst enormous boulders and patches of vegetation. The remains of palaces and gates tell a mysterious tale. Just before sunset, we’ll hike to Matunga Hill, the famous monkey temple, for a breathtaking view of this enchanted city.
DAY 8 :
HAMPI - DAVANAGERE (240 KMS)
Our discovery tour continues! From Hampi, we will proceed to Shivamogga, an amazing ride that will take us through the fertile planes of the Tungabhadra River across banana, coconut, beetle nut plantations and electric green rice fields where we will get to witness real rural life. Tucked away in pristine jungle, we will discover the Sakrebyle Camp and we'll get to interact with these majestic elephants, real close by! Spend the night at the Jungle Camp.
DAY 9 :
OFF TO SHARAVATI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY !
SHIVAMOGGA - JOG FALLS (150 KMS)
Today we’ll head even deeper into the Western Ghats and visit the famous Jog Falls, a spectacular plunge waterfall and the second highest in India. The mist rising from the falling waters create a mesmerising atmosphere. The Sharavathi Adventure Camp will surely provide a welcome relief from the heat of the ride as we will get to dive into the pristine water of the Sharavathi Lake.
DAY 10 :
UP THE HILL, DOWN THE ROAD, GLIDE ALONG THE COAST !
JOG FALLS - GOKARNA VIA YANA ROCKS (150 KMS)
From the Jog Falls, we traverse the Western Ghats to the Yana Rocks, a surreal creation of nature. It is an imposing rock formation from Karst Limestone mysteriously set in a superb green surrounding. From Yana we will continue our ride to the Pilgrimage town of Gokarna situated on the the Malabar coast famous for its iconic Shiva Temple. Gokarna also has spectacular beaches where one can unwind at the end of the day. We, however, will spend more time exploring the ancient town of Gokarna and discovering its heritage.
DAY 11 :
GOKARNA - ANSHI NATIONAL PARK - GANESHGUDI VILLAGE (180 KMS)
On we go – 180 km of the finest bike cruising await us! We’re going to ride through Anshi Wildlife and Tiger National Park – on the most beautiful roads of South India – past wild animals and exotic plants, through dense forests with breathtaking views. Our ride will follow the raging Kali River to the authentic South Indian village of Ganeshgudi in Dandeli Wildlife Park. Blessed with fantastic natural beauty, Ganeshgudi is a must for every adventurer and explorer! You can look forward to the next morning, because the view of this place early in the day is simply breathtaking. The mist rising from the Kali River creates an enchanting atmosphere.
DAY 12 :
RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE, EXPLORING DANDELI NATIONAL PARK
Today we’re going to leave our bikes and go on an excursion into the jungle. Forest trails, crocodiles lazing on river banks and rafting on the Kali river. These are some of the highlights of this day as we put away our bikes and tiredness to explore the soothing atmosphere of the Dandeli National Park. For the more languid of you, nice jungle walks are perfect whereas some of you would prefer the adrenalin rush of whitewater rafting in the Kali river !
We will also experience India’s wildlife up close – elephants, panthers, jackals, cobras, crocodiles and other wild creatures!
DAY 13 :
DANDELI NATIONAL PARK - MOLLEM NATIONAL PARK - BENAULIM (120 KMS)
The beauty of the Western Ghats continues to accompany us as we pass through the protected area of Mollem National Park, situated along the Goa-Karnataka border. Another highlight is the spectacular Dudhsagar Falls, literally meaning ocean of milk, a multi-tiered waterfall high above the Mandovi river. From Mollem, we pass through the familiar terrain of Goa to reach our base at Benaulim beach
DAY 14 :
FAREWELL DINNER AND FARE THEE WELL, RIDER !
Our plans for today: a full day of relaxation and fun in the sun on the beach! Or you may take a trip to the busy, renowned beach of Palolem, famous for its tranquil waters and vibrant nightlife.
We’ll wrap up this unforgettable motorcycle tour through South India by getting together for a farewell dinner with traditional Indian dishes! And finally – one last beer on the beach, watching the sunset.
DAY 15 :
RETURN FLIGHT HOME FROM GOA AIRPORT
With our stomach full and hearts full of memories, we will travel home. You will be dropped off at the Goa Airport and then onwards to home !
